Here We Come A-Caroling!

Here We Come A-Caroling!

It might not be Halloween yet, but at Fannie Battle we are gearing up for the month of December!

Every December since 1916, friends and supporters of Fannie Battle have caroled to raise funds for our program and awareness of the work of Fannie Battle in the Nashville community. This year marks our 108th year!

Caroling for Kids funds go directly to aid our day-to-day mission of teaching children, empowering families, and strengthening community. Because of the funds raised through Caroling for Kids, we are able to continue to offer the majority of our students the financial support they need to attend Fannie Battle.

What many people do not know is that Caroling for Kids can look completely different given the parameters of your group. Some organizers are interested in throwing a party while some folks love to walk their neighborhood with friends. Church groups might elect to sing at church on Sunday, and other organizations may choose to celebrate at an employee holiday gathering. Whatever way YOU choose to participate, we are grateful!

Once you form a Caroling group, we provide everything you need including songbooks, donor cards, and materials to let your neighbors know when you’re coming to sing. Packet pickup this year will be on Monday, November 25th from 4-6pm at Fannie Battle.

Thank you for bringing the joy of the season to our community and to our children at Fannie Battle!
